{ A Layout} She has my heart.

Hi all. 

Welcome to my blog. I created this layout  using tons of goodies from Heidi Swapp's exclusive items available at Michael's.

And this layout is also for Let's Get Sketchy's February Week 1 challenge. Love to play along with them.

I just love all of Heidi's recent collection and never have too much of them.

I also use the Daily flash alphabet sticker from October Afternoon. Perfect for project life too. :)

I just adore this photo and it just have to be in a page.
I used a lot materials from different companies for this page. And it turned out nice. I really enjoy taking our selfie this way. And I remember it's a very beautiful day.

Had some chance to snap some photos for my niece and the dog in our backyard. Love what I captured for them. Isn't this image super sweet? Love this one so much. I also used many different collections from different companies, such as October Afternoon, Crate Paper, Studio Calico, Fancy Pants and Freckled Fawn. Loving the result here.

And here are some close ups. Love to play with all these yummy embllies.

Create your own Memory file/mini album

Happy Tuesday!! Have you ever seen or used the Heidi Swapp's Memory files? Aren't they just so clever and adorable? Today I'd love to show you how to make your own memory file/mini album. And the photo above is my cover.

哈囉,大家好. 這是前兩天答應大家的Memory file 教學分享,抱歉晚了兩天,因為急著趕快把跟大家交換的PL寄出去,這樣才趕得上你們月中的聚會呀. 上面這張照片是我的封面, Memory file是Heidi Swapp的系列之一. 是利用相辦公室裡面的檔案夾的行事來作相編跟小書.他旗下的Memory file系列非常的可愛.今天來跟大家分享怎麼用你現有的美編紙來作一本.

First, use your scoring tool to score at 5.5'', 6'' and 6.5''.

首先先用摺線版在5.5'' , 6'' 還有6.5''的地方劃下摺線.

 

Turn your paper to cut at 8''. So your paper will be 12'' wide and 8'' tall.

然後把美編紙轉過來,裁成12'' X ''8的大小,當然尺寸的設定可以自己決定,要大要小看自己.

Then fold them to look like in the photo.
 This will give you some room later when you include more pages.

然後把摺線折成相照片這樣,這是讓你增加頁數時,有足夠的空間可以放.

 Here is my page 1. I cute some paper into 1is 3''wide and 4''. 2 one is 3''X4.25'' and the fourth and fifth one add 0.5'' more. I used my washi tape to secure the papers and I can still flip them later.
這是我的第一頁,由於我是想要放我的日常生活照片,所以我的照片大小不是4X6,因次我在設計我的頁數時,就朝著小照片的形式設計,當然若是只洗4X6照片的你,也可以隨自己的需求來調整頁數的尺寸. 這一頁的左邊我把幾張紙裁成3X4, 3X4.25跟3X4.5,這樣就可以黏貼成瀑布的樣子,可以翻開抗照片或是文字紀錄.

 Here is another look of my page 1.

 

 I also cut my paper into 12'' X3.5'', then score them 3 times at 4''. I also stapled a ribbon on the side.

然後 我用12''X3.5''的長條行美編紙,用摺線在4''的地方摺3次, 邊邊用一小段緞帶訂起來,

 

So I can pull it to open them.

這樣就可以把這一頁像這樣拉開.

And I also use my page protector for my project life and cut them into a smaller size. And include them into my memory file. So I can just stuck my photos or journaling cards into my pocket.

我也把我作ＰＬ分格的保護套, 裁成3''X4'' & 4''X6''的保護套放在這裡面,這樣照片跟文字紀錄也可以直接放進來.

終於把2012年最後兩週做完了,真的很開心也很驕傲自己能夠有始有終.
大家可以在這裡看我完整的2012足跡和點滴.
這一年的心情一路走來如履薄冰,以下是我在2013年前在Fb寫下的一段話:
豐碩的一年。回顧2012年，我列的清單只剩下兩個未完成。但是有一個不在我的控制範圍之內，另外一個還在努力當中。其他的我都ㄧㄧ完成。去年年底決定開始作project life/生活記錄，如今沒有一週倦怠。決定要把我的作品嘗試投稿，很幸運的第一次投稿的第一個作品就被選中。接觸手作這麼多年,今年的作品量創下了高峰。面對2013年，我還有新的目標，也要挑戰我自己。在精神層面我更是有了學習，從去年底的怨懟與不滿到現在順服神的意念去領受祂給我的安排，這條路我總算走過。我衷心希望我的2013年更加充實與滿盈，我要更珍惜我的所有，也感恩每個在我身邊給我溫暖和正面能量的人。
再見了2012年,2013年請多多指教.

I've been wanting to do a holiday family photo for years. But couples like us who has no kids. We have no good reason to do it. But this year, I decided I am going to do it for a just because. And I am glad I did. Even doggie is not being cooperative on this photo. But I still like. And I think We are going to do it ever year from now on. lol

Getting together with two of my close friends for a Chinese hot pot. It's perfect for a rainy and cold winter night. We also got some crafting done for a project. ^^ What a happy day.

2012. Project life Week 28

 

Week 28, July 09~July 15,2012.

Thus week, we went up to Santa Cruz with our new friend and her two girls who are visiting US from Taiwan this summer. During summer, every Mondays & Tuesdays, Santa Cruz offers 1 $ Hot dog and drink. They also give you a lot of different coupons with different deals on the boardwalk. The weather was lovely, but it does get breezy after sunset. We still had a great time together.

 

The photo above with me and the dog makes me smile whenever I see it. She looked reluctantly to take this photo with me or I made her to pose with me. She is indeed a sweet heart to me. Super cute. lol
