A layout for my newspaper interview.

I am so honored and nervous when I got a phone call from the reporter of  World Journal (Chinese newspaper) want to interview and feature me and my scrappy story. I immediately say yes, of course.

And It went out two weeks ago. I finally get to scrap the copy. This one is for my record. :)

{A Layout} I love us is for Let's get sketchy.

{A Layout} I love us.

Because gold is so trendy right now. And because I am loving the bling now. SO I decide to use a can of the Metallic Krylon Paint  to turn my boring white doilies into golden doilies.

And after I sprayed the paint, I waited a couple of minutes to remove them to leave the prints on my white cardstock.
And they turned out so fabulous.

And the silver glitter stocker is from Heidi Swapp.

Also this layout is for Let's get sketchy's January week 2 challenge.

These are my favs during CHA week. Part 1

You know if I ever go down to LA, I prefer to stop by my favorite place on the planet, Disneyland. So when Sarah (Paper Bakery owner) asked me if it's ok to go when we are planning the CHA trip. I said Yes, please. Hello, it's Disney we are talking about.

I was glad we did this the first day. Because during CHA we were so tired after we were done. The excitement, the walk and everything makes happy but exhausted.

I was being goofy when Pooh was signing my journaling card. lol

Simple Stories's booth was the first one we stopped. We were there for probably good 2 hours. Yes. 2 hours. lol

Lawn Fawn has so many adorable projects in their booth. :)

And I managed to ask Amy to sign my book that I treasured for quite some time.

Can't wait to get my hands on the plus one and her baby is just adorable. XOXO

And these girls Kim and Jennifer are just so friendly at Heidi Swapp's booth.

And of course my favorte Dear Lizzy. She is so down to earth and gorgeous. Her voice was so sweet. We even had lunch with her in front of the food truck. Yay!

And Maggie Holmes (Another my favorite) just makes me happy to finally meet her.
Still feel so surreal when I am typing all of these. So proud to be a scrapbooker who knows these amazing people from all over the world.

I do enjoy Crate Paper's booth so much.

And I feel so happy when Maggie agreed to do this pose with us. lol

{A Layout} Love you always.

We went to the pumpkin patch with doggie on Sunday. And I just adore this shot.
So I can't resist to get this photo scrapped right away.

I just love all the activities we did with my favorite pooch in the world. She is such a great animal, so grateful to have her in our life. Without her I can't overcome my infertility obstacle and deal with some health issues I had two years ago. I treasure every moment spend with her. ^^

{A Layout} You make me happy when skies are grey is for Let's get Sketchy September Week 3 challenge

I am so honored and excited to found out that I am the featured artist at Let's get Sketchy yesterday. Yay! Doing a little happy dance here.

Now here is the sketch from Let's get Sketchy for Week 3 challenge. And the image below is my take on.

I used two different collections from Maggie Holmes and Dear Lizzy's Lucky Charm. They look great together too. HA! And I used the "You make me happy when skies are grey" sticker as my long title.
I am also entering this layout for Paper Issues

Had some chance to snap some photos for my niece and the dog in our backyard. Love what I captured for them. Isn't this image super sweet? Love this one so much. I also used many different collections from different companies, such as October Afternoon, Crate Paper, Studio Calico, Fancy Pants and Freckled Fawn. Loving the result here.

And here are some close ups. Love to play with all these yummy embllies.

(Altered project) Tahiti Printer's tray

 (Altered project) Tahiti Printer's tray

Hi there:
Happy Monday. Like I mentioned in my last blog post, this summer is going to be crazy with my niece visiting us from Taiwan. But I do manage to steal some craft time while she is napping or doing other things. lol
Ever since we got back from Tahiti, I just couldn't help but wanting to go back. So I decided to printed some of my favorite photos from this trip and made a printer's tray with them. Now I hang the tray in my craft space so I can see them when I am in there. Yay!

The collection I am using here is still my favorite summer/travel related collection The Pier by Crate Paper

And here are some close ups. TFL.
