Hi welcome to my blog. I'd like to share my Project life Week 14 spreads with you today. During this week, I went out with girl friend for dinner. It was fun. So I am using tons of Elle's Studio goodies for this week. I used some from both of the March and April exclusive kits. And also from other releases to combine with my Studio Calico Project Life kit. And the cute weekdays wood veneer is from Chic Tags.

Feeling awesome so far as I am working on my 2014 Project life. I am still in between making them up for the last few months of 2013 due to my trip to Taiwan. A lot of fun details. And I am feeling productive with my scrapbooking layouts this year. Yay!

So blessed and grateful yo have Zumba and crafts in my life right now. Zumba makes me extremely happy so as my crafts. And without these I will not have met so many amazing people that I called friends. As long as I live I will always find a way to make myself happy and stay inspired.

My tip: if you are behind, always work on the most recent week as your memory is still fresh.Then work backwards. I use Collect app as a photo reminder. Also you can print out a monthly overview collage. It's helpful. And there's nothing wrong to make a monthly spreads instead of weekly.

{A Layout} Tahiti and the Let's Get Sketchy March Week3 challenge

 Can you all believe it's already the third week into March now???  Oh my!
And here is the sketch from Let's Get Sketchy March Week 3 challenge.

 

  {A Layout} Tahiti

I created a layout with one of the photo we took at our 10th anniversary Tahiti trip last year. We used a tripod and successfully get a few shots together, since hubby doesn't like to be picture taken anymore. :(

As you can tell, my project is a little different from the sketch. I always like to challenge myself to think outside of the box to make my project more fun but still follow the sketch. I hope you like my take on this sketch.

And for this layout I used tons of products from Elle's Studio. the alphabet stickers are from Dear Lizzy's daydreamer collection.

 

 And I just adore the dies from the Dear Lizzy daydreamer collection. So very versatile and cute. Of course the papers are from Plus one and daydreamer.

My Week 8 is full of fun. The weather is warming and nicer here during this week and I was out and about a lot. 

As a project life veteran who has no kids in our life, I challenge myself to take pictures and document our life with different angles. That way my spreads won't look boring and feel they are the same.

During this week, I am happy to play with Dear Lizzy's Daydreamer mini kit. And a lot of goodies from Elle''s studio and Evalicious.

I am currently still in love with Evalicious's stamps and flair buttons. Eve is so good at designing her products. I am just crazy with those cute stamps she made. :)

Happy Saturday.
I've sick for almost a week now. sigh~~This virus is so killing me right now. I have fevers for 3 night straight this week and not to mention about my stuffy nose, headache and non stop coughing. But I am so glad to take  advantage of this free time to scrap more. lol

2013 Project Life Week 4 & 5

2013. Project life Week 4-1 /生活紀錄第四週-1

In this spread, I tried to include some embellishments from my stash, such as flair buttons, Washi taps and fabric sticker...etc. Also I got some jounaling cards from our swap all the way from Taiwan. How fun is that. The journaling card on the bottom right is by SbVendor. Super adorable heart shapes with sewing.

I also cut some cute art works from my Silhoutte. The coffee cup is from the Perfect Blend stamp set by Avocado arts. Is it cute or what? Perfect for a coffeeholic like me.

2013. Project life Week 5-1 /生活紀錄第五週-1

In the week spread, I use some stamp brush in Photoshop before I printed my photos. They came out pretty darn adorable. And it's perfect for some photo captions. It's getting warm here in Nor Cal. The other day when I did some photo shoots in our backyard. Doggie followed me and lie down in the sun. What a lovely day together.

During week 5, I got an email from CK magazine saying my project is accepted and will be publish with them in the July/August issue. This is like a dream come true to me. Their magazine is the first scrapbooking/crafts magazine I ever subscribed back when I first start  to know about scrapbooking. So this is a super excited news.

Having so much fun creating my project life spread as always.

I love, love to capture and document the everyday. In reality, project life helps to remember the details in the life for us in the future. I still enjoy to slip through my 2012 PL album. It seems to me that I did so much that I don't even remember. lol

這是我的第二週生活紀錄. 因為有了第一年的經驗了,所以我在做我的生活紀錄的時後,我加了許多小小細節的創意.例如配件,我利用了木質片,圖卡,和 徽章來結合我的照片跟文字紀錄,給予我的生活紀錄較多活潑的變化. 同時除了延續使用去年的Instagram來拍照之外,我也在印照片之前,用Photoshop改變了照片的顏色跟加上一些文字,好能夠更反應自己當下的心情跟製作標題,因為並不是每一張照片都有文字紀錄的啊. 因為今年開始玩One Little Word, 所以我也會在我的生活紀錄裡面加入一些我在這一年給自己的目標跟想跟自己說的話,例如第二頁左下角,我用字母的木質片拼出了Love life and it will love you back. (熱誠生活,生活愛你) 提醒自己珍惜自己手中擁有的也要努力認真生活.你呢?你有沒有一些想要對自己說的話,下次也可以加進來唷.

In my week 2 spread, I used a lot of wood veneers and I love them. The alphabet wood veneers from Studio Calico is so helpful to create titles and captions for my photos. And the arrow wood chips from Freckled Fawn are great frame and accents. They just make my spread to much fun. I also love the tid bits and journaling cards from Elle's Studio. I love to hoard them and I feel so much comfortable to keep them in my stash. lol

I am super proud of myself. Goodbye 2012. Hello 2013.
終於把2012年最後兩週做完了,真的很開心也很驕傲自己能夠有始有終.
大家可以在這裡看我完整的2012足跡和點滴.
這一年的心情一路走來如履薄冰,以下是我在2013年前在Fb寫下的一段話:
豐碩的一年。回顧2012年，我列的清單只剩下兩個未完成。但是有一個不在我的控制範圍之內，另外一個還在努力當中。其他的我都ㄧㄧ完成。去年年底決定開始作project life/生活記錄，如今沒有一週倦怠。決定要把我的作品嘗試投稿，很幸運的第一次投稿的第一個作品就被選中。接觸手作這麼多年,今年的作品量創下了高峰。面對2013年，我還有新的目標，也要挑戰我自己。在精神層面我更是有了學習，從去年底的怨懟與不滿到現在順服神的意念去領受祂給我的安排，這條路我總算走過。我衷心希望我的2013年更加充實與滿盈，我要更珍惜我的所有，也感恩每個在我身邊給我溫暖和正面能量的人。
再見了2012年,2013年請多多指教.

I've been wanting to do a holiday family photo for years. But couples like us who has no kids. We have no good reason to do it. But this year, I decided I am going to do it for a just because. And I am glad I did. Even doggie is not being cooperative on this photo. But I still like. And I think We are going to do it ever year from now on. lol

On this day, my poor pooch has to go to the vet. :( Not fun!!

She has been leaking her right paw for a while and it starts to bleed. We couldn't find out the reason. So we decide to take her to see the vet.

The vet found a fox tail embedded in her skin. No wonder we can't find or see anything.

And the vet also subscript some pain killers and antibiotics for her. So far it looks like it's healing. And we just have to keep an eye on her and sop her from leaking again. Poor babe.

2012. Project life Week 28

 

Week 28, July 09~July 15,2012.

Thus week, we went up to Santa Cruz with our new friend and her two girls who are visiting US from Taiwan this summer. During summer, every Mondays & Tuesdays, Santa Cruz offers 1 $ Hot dog and drink. They also give you a lot of different coupons with different deals on the boardwalk. The weather was lovely, but it does get breezy after sunset. We still had a great time together.

 

The photo above with me and the dog makes me smile whenever I see it. She looked reluctantly to take this photo with me or I made her to pose with me. She is indeed a sweet heart to me. Super cute. lol
