{A Layout} Tahiti and the Let's Get Sketchy March Week3 challenge

 Can you all believe it's already the third week into March now???  Oh my!
And here is the sketch from Let's Get Sketchy March Week 3 challenge.

 

  {A Layout} Tahiti

I created a layout with one of the photo we took at our 10th anniversary Tahiti trip last year. We used a tripod and successfully get a few shots together, since hubby doesn't like to be picture taken anymore. :(

As you can tell, my project is a little different from the sketch. I always like to challenge myself to think outside of the box to make my project more fun but still follow the sketch. I hope you like my take on this sketch.

And for this layout I used tons of products from Elle's Studio. the alphabet stickers are from Dear Lizzy's daydreamer collection.

 

 And I just adore the dies from the Dear Lizzy daydreamer collection. So very versatile and cute. Of course the papers are from Plus one and daydreamer.

I am so honor to be the Featured Artist again at the Let's Get Sketchy. And I can't wait to show you what I created for the Week 2 challenge.

 And this is my take on for this week sketch. So happy to play with Maggie Holmes's new collection: StyleBoard.

This photo is from our Tahiti trip last May. This is the view we get every morning for breakfast. It was amazing to start your day with coffee and yummy breakfast and someone you love next to you. I still miss every bit of it during this trip. Too bad we have to come back to reality. Ha!

I also including the photo overlay from this line to create some kind of filter effect. And it looks great.

Can't believe it's the first week of March already. Oh my! Life is good around here and can't wait to get a little warmer, So doggie and I can enjoy more sunshine and hiking together. :)

But rainy days make perfect crafty days for me. I am always in the gym working out or at home making something that makes me happy. Seriously love this life.

{A Layout} Hugs and Kisses and LGS challenge

 

This layout is about my grandma who lives in Taiwan right now. We were very close growing up and now we live apart. I miss mt family a lot everyday. Wish we can live closer.

It's hard to live far away from home and family sometimes. But I do try to enjoy every bit of it and be positive about all the obstacles. That's what my grandma taught me and inspire me when I was little. No matter how hard life is, but do good at your part.

And I am gladly enter this one for Let's Get Sketchy's February week 3 challenge.

Good morning and happy Tuesday.

I am so very happy to see I am a Featured Artist over at Let's get sketchy. This is not my first time but I am still the happy dance when I saw it. lol

And let's check out their challenge for February week 2. Such a beautiful and fun sketch to work with, so I jumped right in last night before I cooked dinner. ha!

And this is my take on for this sketch. I love how happy she looks in this picture. We been getting the rain for the last few days. So she got stuck in the house. It was a bright and sunny day yesterday, so we took an early walk. So I got this while we were in the park. What a happy girl. :)

Happy Monday, my blog friends. How was your weekend?
I'd love to share another layout I created for Let's get Sketchy Week 3 challenge.
The pictures I used here are from the black bunny cafe in KeeLung, Taiwan. 

It's a little, cozy zakka (Japanese goods) cafe. I've always want to visit there, and so happy my crafty friends in Taiwan made my dream come true. Such a happy day.

It's going to be another awesome week. 

I'd love to share anther layout with you all using Dear Lizzy Polka Dot party by American Crafts. This layout is also for Let's get Sketchy October week 1 challenge.

Fall is definitely my favorite season of all. I love the fall leaves, crisp air and everything about fall. Also during this season, I am grateful that we all are here together as a family. To me, my family here is as important as my family in Taiwan. I am so glad I am going back to Taiwan for 7 weeks to visit my family, friends and all my crafting friends. 

Can't wait.

So happy to play along with another challenge over at Let's get Sketchy .

They once again have another awesome sketch for all of you who is looking for some inspirations when you feel little scrappy this weekend.

 

And this is my take on for the Week 4 sketch. I use the beautiful Maggie Holmes's Flea Market collection by Crate Paper.They do have an amazing collection when working together. I am already a CP fan so no reason not to play with these.

 Those embellishments are just GORGEOUS. Aren't they?

I cut out some pieces from the Market paper and sew them next to my photo for my journaling. Just love the result.

Then of course I have to mention about the photo overlay that's also in this collection. Have you always wanted to have special filter with your photo but don;t know anything about Photoshop or don't have a smart phone? Now you can consider Using the Photo overlay with your photos.

And after.

This is the result after applying with the photo overlay. I just love love them. They do come in different sizes and they are just fabulous.

I used two different collections from Maggie Holmes and Dear Lizzy's Lucky Charm. They look great together too. HA! And I used the "You make me happy when skies are grey" sticker as my long title.

Love this sketch. In fact, I've been always want to do more challenges. But just don't have enough time. Whenever, I am ready and the timing is never  right. Ha! And now is the time. So here is my take on for this sketch.

The materials from this layout is from Dear Lizzy's Polka Dot Party by American Crafts. Another my must haves and favorites. Really adorable and the chalk board design is just trendy. :)

And the photos are from my birthdat, September 11th. I turned 37 yesterday. Yay! And I feel so grateful that I have hubby and doggie by me and tons of great friends. I do feel loved. Always.
